ABOUT
Hi! I’m Liz Diemer. Art has always been a big part of my life — even as a kid, when I was drawing on walls and turning furniture into “creative projects.” That love for creating stuck with me, and eventually led me to get a degree in Fine Arts between 2014 and 2018. After that, I went on to study at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, originally planning to become a concept artist.
Turns out, that career path didn’t quite fit — but it helped me figure out what I did love: working with dogs. I’ve since been building a dog training business, which has been an awesome journey on its own.
Still, I couldn’t let go of art completely. These days, I’m back to making and selling art, taking commissions, and even diving into photography.
I’m also a grateful dog mom to two incredible companions who are a huge part of my life. Rusty is a small, fluffy mix who’s now 16 years old — full of personality and stubbornness, and truly the soul of my passion.
Z’ombii, affectionately known as Z, is my younger rescue. He was born completely deaf and partially blind, and we met when he was about a year and a half old. He’s brought a new depth to my life and work, reminding me daily of the strength found in resilience.
Together, my dogs and I enjoy hiking, traveling, and participating in agility. They inspire me constantly, and I hope to continue creating — both in art and in life — with them by my side. I'm excited to see where these passions lead me and trust that God will continue to guide the way.

Accomplishments
1 / Contest Placements
Through out high school I had placed in art contests, but two of the most fun ones are the Super Yooper in 2013 and the "In God We Trust" competitions in 2014.
2 / Public Displays
I've had some fun opportunities in high school and college to have my works displayed publicly.
I had the opportunity to work in a group, three mural paintings that are displayed in the Northpointe Cafeteria.
As I took art classes, multiple times my class artwork was displayed in the campus' magazine and the art showcase.
3 / Fine Arts Degree
In 2018 I graduated Grand Rapids Community College Art Program with an Associates in Fine Arts.
4 / Accepted to CCS
In 2019 I had the amazing opportunity to learn from the best in the College for Creative Studies(CCS) located in Detroit, MI. I was accepted among nine other students to be the first in the new Concept Art program.
